Pokemon: Best of Friends

Age: 17 years old
Pokemon: Eevee, Furret, Flareon, Espeon  
Melina is your average gym leader in Aspen city. Bossy, vengeful and proud, everyone in Aspen city would not dare to challenge her in a battle. Many have tried yet lost when she's up. Meanwhile, she's the idol of her friend who had transferred to Sommer Village and is looking up for a challenge against her.  
When she was a child, Melina gave a Pokeball to Juniper before the latter's family decided to transfer to Sommer Village. This was a token of their friendship; a memento of Melina if June's rather lonely. However, little did she know that the Pokeball she gave to her friend would change her life and interests in things she considered to be nonsense.  
Melina as gym leader is somewhat brute and heartless, as she tries to put her opponent's pokemon to their limits. 

Anyway, Melina and June are still the best of friends and imagine how hard it is when the two eventually battled each other, considering Mel's change of heart xD
